The Women of Achievement Awards were established in 1999 by the YWCA of Summit County to increase community awareness, understanding and appreciation of women and the doors they open for future generations.
In 2005, Women’s Network, Inc. became the host for these prestigious community awards. It is our privilege to honor women who have made a difference in our community.
Individuals, businesses and organizations can nominate women from the community within the public or private sector for this prestigious award. Women’s Network selects recipients based on their history of encouraging success among women, breaking down barriers, mentoring, taking risks to overcome obstacles and supporting the progress of women toward full participation in economic, community and family life. Additionally, these award winners have gone beyond their own personal or career accomplishments to give back to the community.
