    READY, SET, TRASH!


    ACCESS Homeless Shelter invites the men and women of Northeast Ohio to don their old formal wear and running shoes to race in the Trash the Dress 5K Race and 1 Mile Walk. Dig out your old prom, wedding or formal gown; put on your suit or tuxedo, and break a sweat during the only race of its kind, featuring: 
    • a red carpet walk to the starting line
    • Gatorade served in champagne flutes
    • a photo-booth snapshot to commemorate the event
    • a chocolate fountain to dip your after-race banana
    • participate in trashing yours and others dresses all in support of Akron's homeless women and children
