Women's Entrepeneurship Program

Women's Entrepreneurship Program (WEP) initiated by the Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron (ABIA) with the University of Akron's College of Business Administration. The objectives of this initiative are i) to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in the biomedical and alternative energy sectors, and ii) to facilitate the commercialization of technology projects. One unique aspect of WEP is that participants work in teams comprised of two individuals- one with expertise in technology and the other is a MBA candidate.
